Free ways we could assist the body in wellness

1.-Water- our bodies are mostly water. Water is essential for functioning.     

2.-Laughter- Relaxes muscles, releases endorphins and it helps organs by enhances uptake of oxygen rich air. 

3.-Take a deep breath and exhale gently. Bring the focus in.

4-Dandelions. Good source of Vitamin A, C and K. Folate, calcium and potassium. They also contain several different types of antioxidants. Be careful of the source. Seeds are cheap if you want to grow your own for eating.

5.-Pleasant and relaxing music. 

6.-Art. Allows for a release of emotions and helps people come to mindfulness.

7-Dance turn on music that connects with you. Let yourself go. Best to be done without thoughts of others watching or trying to be anything.

8.-Be in nature mindfully. Really notice what is around you with all your senses. 

9.-Smell pine. Pine releases phytocides that have anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant, can lower BP, increase natural killer cell activity (important in fighting infection).

10.-Sunshine- assist vitamin D production and lowers blood pressure.

11.Earthing, walking in the grass, beach on the earth's surface with light socks or bare feet.  

12- Tia Chi, Qigong and yoga. A lot of library programs offer free classes. I do one usually once a month at Eldersburg library. Check the events page for date and register online or in the library. 

!3. Any kind of movement

14.Get enough sleep. This is the housekeeping phase of the body. 

15.-Play. Take time to reboot. No agenda.
